Authorized Surface Frequencies only

divider Guidelines and Rules when Pondside.
  1. No manned vessel except approved rescue boat to be used on the pond.
  2. All radio controled models will operate on Surface Frequencies only. 35Mhz is allocated for aircraft only
  3. Frequency pennants must be flown at all times when your Radio is on, and be of a size to be easily and clearly seen.
  4. No member shall switch on his/her transmitter without first making sure the particular fequency is not in use.
  5. Whem more than one member requires the same frequency a 20 minute time limit will be observed.
  6. All members will conduct themselves in an orderly and friendly manner at all times.
  7. For safety reasons, Transmitter aerial guards must be fitted at all times. (New Aerials guards will be available soon from our Webmaster. Check the club store for details.)
  8. Don't Put your boat into the water... 'Till you turn your radio on!'
  9. Make sure you have plugged your battery in and turned your boat on before you set sail.
  10. Always make sure you have charged your batteries before you set off from home, as there is no charger points available at the pond. Unless using your car battery.
