We have postponed the new work on the pond for the time being. The sign with the frequencies has been rebuilt-thanks goes to the hard work of Reg Crmptom for this-replacing the broken wooden stump with a brand new wooden pole and Metal Face, cemented in. The step is being done sometime either in March or April, however as we are unsure whether the pond is going to remain our home or not. Until it has been decided we wont be exteding the pond side as planned.

More work will take place on the bank during the first half of this year. The step is getting dangerous and must be repaired as soon as possible. Extending the landing stage area will not occur this year or for the foreseeable future. More information will be posted when it becomes available.

Following a unanimous agreement by members it was decided to repair the pond bank. Work began on Tue 16th May 2006 and, with the fantastic efforts of Barry, Ray B, Ray P and myself, the job was completed on Wed 17th. Barry and Ray even found the time for some more 'dubious' activities.
As chairman I would like to express my thanks to Barry, Ray and Ray for giving their time end energy to this project and to Reg and Ray B's son for the loan of their generators without which the project could not have been completed well within budget.
